The main objective of the impact evaluation was to assess the effects of participating in Migrants as Messengers campaign events in Dakar on potential migrants’ perceptions, knowledge and intentions with regard to migration towards Europe.
The impact evaluation provides evidence that peer-to-peer communication has measurable effects on potential migrants’ perception and intention, which are key prerequisites for safe migration decisions.
